TREE PLANTING CEREMONY 
April 30, 2010

Each year, a tree is planted in honor of an individual who has contributed to the development of the garden. Past Arborvitae Award honorees are Helena Street, Alden Aust, Virginia Stewart, Barbara Schaefer, Robert Turner, Jim and Kathy Quinlan, Kimball Lauritzen and Lois Roskens.

This year's Arborvitae Award recipient will be honored at 11:30 a.m. following a separate event put on by Omaha Public Power District. OPPD recognizes its Tree Promotion Program award recipients at 10 a.m. The OPPD awards will be presented at 9:30 a.m.
